The first step of rehab & rehabilitation commences with a generic medical protocol involving a full evaluation from a competent medical doctor. We also provide a quick detox for people who only have a few days or a week to get quality treatment. This involves blood work and a full medical examination – as well as other standard medical tests to ensure that nothing is missed – & that nothing hidden remains undiscovered. This is an important step as blood work is performed to discover the necessity for IV therapy – versus using additional – potentially addictive drugs in their place. And more importantly – IV therapy is also utilized to replace the nutrients in a nutritionally ravaged body to help fulfill the rehab process.
Of course – each person is different – so there is no “rubber stamp” aspect to this highly important stage. Each person is treated with respect – dignity – care and as a unique individual.
The Medical Rehab step is complete only when the doctor has signified that the client is safely off all of the medications & has given clearance that the person is now stable. This is accomplished by systematically reducing the client from the addictive substances which they are currently taking. The result from this step is: “A Client who has been stabilized from withdrawal symptoms.” The Rehab & Withdrawal Specialists at Our Rehab work closely with the instructions of the doctor & his proficient medical team to ensure that this step is complete before moving onto Sauna Rehab phase of the program.
